去年種植西瓜，發芽有些晚了，四月中下旬才發芽，仍舊有兩顆果實，但不大，西瓜苗也長得不太好，或許是因為日照陽光不充足，或是水份澆於過多，今年再接再厲，認真研究，看看是否有進步？

西瓜生長週期 ～ 四個月

• 約三月初育苗
• 戶外氣溫約 20～25C 移植戶外
• 西瓜是喜熱植物，夏天氣溫 25～35C
• 最初的西瓜幼苗是比較脆弱的
• 西瓜苗怕澇。若有幾天下雨，搭小棚遮擋雨水，以免雨水泡爛西瓜根部
• 適量澆水施肥，不宜太多
• 最好使用水稀釋肥料澆灌西瓜幼苗，因為固體的化肥肥料可能會使西瓜根部燒爛燒壞。

• 西瓜是一種喜光的植物。
• 如果前期光照不足，就會使得西瓜生長發育很緩慢

發芽：

1. 用廚房紙包裹種子，噴灑些水
2. 用密封塑料袋包起來
3. 擱置在室溫 20 C 的地方
4. 過幾天就發芽了

育苗：

1. 準備稍微較大的盆子
2. 放 potting mix
3. 發芽的種子放入土中（** 發芽的部分朝下 **）
4. 澆適量的水

栽種：

Amend soil with aged manure, seaweed, and/or compost before planting. Watermelons are heavy feeders, meaning they need soil that is fertile and has a high nutrient level. Watermelons do best in loamy, somewhat-sandy, well-drained soil. They can struggle in soil that contains too much clay and doesn’t drain well. Black Diamond Watermelon Care

When it comes to fertilizer, Eden Brothers recommends applying a nitrogen-rich formula early and until the watermelon vines begin to form flowers. At that point, you can switch to a fertilizer that is high in phosphorus and potassium.

Avoid overwatering and do not water Black Diamond watermelon vines from overhead, as this can cause a fungal foliar condition called powdery mildew as well as other diseases. Crimson Sweet 西瓜種子、Black Diamond 西瓜種子、哈密瓜種子

用廚房紙包裹，噴灑些水濕潤廚房紙，放置於密封塑料袋裡，

移置於小暖爐旁靜待發芽

秋葵種子泡水

今年慘痛的經驗是，因為在家育苗的種子，後因為戶外陽光明媚，

而將育苗盆移到戶外曬太陽，而導致種子/幼苗被曬死。

所有的種子，除了燈籠椒成功之外，其他都死光光！嗚嗚嗚！😭
