🪷 故事六：最後一瓶水
Story 6: The Last Bottle of Water
【中文故事開始｜The Story Begins】
暑假的志工服務隊來到了偏遠山區，幫忙修繕一所年久失修的圖書館。
During summer break, a volunteer team traveled to a remote mountain village to help renovate an old library.
那天太陽火辣辣地照著，空氣像烤箱一樣悶熱。志工們揮汗搬書、刷油漆、鋪地板。
The sun was blazing that day, and the air felt like a giant oven. Volunteers were sweating as they carried books, painted walls, and laid down new flooring.
到了下午三點，大家的水幾乎都喝光了，只剩下一瓶冰涼的礦泉水，放在公共桌上。
By 3 p.m., everyone’s water bottles were nearly empty. Only one cold bottle of mineral water was left on the shared table.
正當大家口乾舌燥時，一位志工弟弟無聲無息地拿起那瓶水，快步走向帳篷。
Just as everyone was parched, a younger volunteer quietly picked up the bottle and walked away toward the tents.
有人小聲嘀咕：「怎麼他就自己拿走了？他不渴，還喝汽水呢。」
Someone whispered, “Why did he take it? He was drinking soda earlier. He doesn’t even look thirsty.”
幾分鐘後，那位志工回來了——手上拿著空瓶和一條濕毛巾。
A few minutes later, the boy returned—with an empty bottle and a damp towel.
原來，他把水倒在毛巾上，送去給剛剛中暑的老奶奶降溫用。
It turned out, he had used the water to wet the towel and help cool down an elderly villager who had just suffered from heat exhaustion.
大家一時愣住，沒人再說話。有人低頭，有人默默走去幫忙奶奶擦汗。
Everyone fell silent. Some looked down. Others quietly joined to help wipe the sweat from the old lady’s forehead.
