What Is a Story Map?

Characters are the people who carry out the action in the story. Characters can be based on real people or completely imaginary. Some examples of characters are people, animals, or even wizards!
The setting is the place where the story takes place. The setting can also include the time and date.
A problem is an obstacle that the character encounters.
The plot is the steps the character takes to solve the problem.
The climax is the point in the story when the character finds a way to solve the problem. This is often the turning point of the story.
The resolution is the ending or outcome of the story.
