P S A T 考試 .

The ten Dharma realms arise from this very mind. Whenever we conceptualize anything, our mind is already trapped in the cycle of rebirth through the Dharma realms. If we do not recognize this and turn our mind around, our karmic consequences will result in the cycle of physical rebirth. If we truly understand this, then we will understand the nonduality of physical form and mind, that principle and phenomena are one in suchness.

She Only Wanted to Leave the World in Peace

Mosquito Airlift Mission: Saving Hawaii’s Birds

Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest --

「Poems are made by fools like me,

But only God can make a tree.」

The Untold Story of the Cherohala Skyway

The Mountain Road That Wifi Forgot: The Untold Story of the Cherohala Skyway

You might notice something strange as we start to drive up this road. Your signal bars are going to drop, your social media feeds will freeze, and for the next 43 miles, you won't be able to text, stream, or look up a single meme.

Before you panic, this isn't a glitch. It’s part of the magic of this specific road. You are about to drive on one of the most unique, difficult-to-build, and beautiful places in the entire United States. They call it the Cherohala Skyway, and it has a story that took over three decades to write.

Part 1: The "Unbuildable" Mountains

To understand why this road is special, you have to look at the name. It combines two different wildernesses: the Nantahala National Forest in North Carolina and the Cherokee National Forest in Tennessee.

🏎️ Spring Break Expedition: The Legend of Louisville

Characters:

  • Leo (18 years old): The narrator, calm and insightful.

  • Sam (14 years old): The curious explorer, full of energy.

Sam: (Looking at the GPS or phone) Hey Leo, the first four days of this trip have been a total marathon with just Mom leading the "Western Expedition." Now it’s Day 5, and Dad is finally flying in to join the squad! But I just saw his arrival gate... the airport code is SDF, but the name is Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport. Why the long name?

Leo: That’s exactly what Mom was curious about. She looked it up while we were driving. This place used to be called Standiford Field—that’s why the code is still SDF. But in 2019, the city decided to rename it after their most famous son: the legendary Muhammad Ali.

Sam: The Greatest of All Time? I’ve heard of him! But wasn't he just a boxer?

Hocking Hills State Park -- Ash Cave

3.31.2026

Ash Cave

“Welcome to Ash Cave, the largest recess cave in Hocking Hills. It’s over 700 feet wide and 90 feet high, and the first thing you notice is the immense rock ceiling.”

But this wasn’t just a cool rock formation — it was home to people long before Hocking Hills became a park.

1️⃣ Native American History

  • Long before settlers arrived, Native Americans used Ash Cave as a shelter.

  • They built small fires here, prepared food, and even held gatherings.

  • Evidence like charred wood, tools, and stone fragments suggests that people came here hundreds of years ago.

"Imagine walking into this cave 500 years ago. You’d see smoke, hear stories, and feel safe under this massive rock roof."

Hocking Hills State Park -- Old Man's Cave 的故事

3.31.2026

Richard Rowe – The Old Man of the Cave

"Before we start walking the Old Man's Cave trail in the Hocking Hills State Park, I want to tell you why this place is called Old Man’s Cave."

"About 200 years ago, a real person named Richard Rowe lived here."

"He wasn't a park ranger."

"He wasn't an explorer."

"He wasn't trying to become famous."

"He was just a man who decided to live quietly in the wilderness."

"In the early 1800s, this whole area was frontier land. No paved roads. No railings. No tourists. Just forest and cliffs like what we're about to see."

It’s fascinating to think about because, in 1781, there wasn't really a concept of "teenagers" as we know them today. Once you hit 14 or 15, you were essentially treated like a young adult with serious responsibilities.

If you were the kids living in Greensboro in 1781, your lives would have looked very different depending on your age:

For a 14-year-old:

At 14, a boy was often considered old enough to contribute directly to the war effort, even if he wasn't officially a soldier yet.

  • The "Music" of War: Many 14-year-olds served as Drummer Boys or Fifes. This wasn't just for entertainment; the drum was the "radio" of the battlefield. Because it was so loud, the drum beats told the soldiers when to march, when to fire, and when to retreat.

  • Couriers and Spies: Teens this age were often used as messengers because they were fast, knew the local woods, and looked less "suspicious" to British patrols than an adult man would.

  • Camp Followers: If his father was in the militia, a 14-year-old might stay with the army as a "camp follower," helping to forage for food, look after horses, or clean equipment.

For an 18-year-old:
